The Okanogan Jail has beds for 183 male and female inmates, including state inmates of all custody levels who are probation violators, awaiting trial, sentencing, or transfer to the Washington Department of Corrections or the Federal Bureau of Prisons system.

Okanogan County Jail Mail & Visiting
Inmates may receive mail addressed in the following manner.
Letters/correspondence addressed to inmates must bear a name and return address or the mail will not be delivered to the inmate. Mail will be opened by the staff and inspected for contraband prior to delivery. Legal mail from/to attorneys, the courts, or elected federal, state, county, tribal or city officials shall not be withheld and shall be inspected in the presence of the inmate.

Jail Visiting Hours:
• Two free lobby visits per inmate per week, one per day, 15 minute maximum per visit.
• Must be scheduled by visitor at least 24 hours in advance and confirmed by inmate.
• Onsite visits may only take place on Friday from 1:00 – 4:00 P.M. and Saturday – Sunday, 8:00 – 11:00 A.M. and 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
All visitation is through video including at the corrections facility.
